Switch Application diaog

Hi all,

I know that Blackberry API doesn't provide methods for Switch Application dialog invokation, but I found the workaround how to invoke it, but it works on simulator only:

ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().postGlobalEvent( 7563637690172082503L, 2048, 0 );

Does anybody know why it works on simulator only?

Re: Switch Application diaog

Probably because the simulator has security disabled.

Re: Switch Application diaog

But there are things that 3rd party applications do not have access to regardless.

On the simulator, all security is disabled.

On the device, we have access to only those features which are enabled for the signature authorities we have. we do not have the top-secret signature authorities that the RIM applications enjoy.

Of couse, I could be completely wrong Smiley Happy
