Can I print messages during the execution of an app in blackberry device?. I'd like to do something the link tipical System.out.println("You are in");
I don't want pass messages between class and then use add(ritchtext...), etc. I just want one print on that moment. It's that possible in blackberry?
If not, there is another way to simulate something similar?

sysout is possible and often used, yes. it prints the text to the console, you can see it when you debug.
if you want to print on the screen you have to use fields (generally speaking)

Thank you simon_hain, but in my case, I can't debug my app because my app uses the blackberry smart card reader. I have to test my app directly in the device. Then my one way to show, and print messages is on the smartphone screen.
I do not know if I explained very well, I have no console to see the debugs message.
Can I try something like generate a log file? Some idea?
thanks again for answering so quickly.

you can attach the debugger to the real blackberry as well.
we use a loggerservice which does:
- log to the device log (EventLogger class)
- log to an internal persisted log
the easiest solution would be to use http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/6.0.0api
