Text to Speech & Speech to Text implementation

Hi

I need to implement both these functionalities. I have searched the forum and found that text to speech works in simulator but not on device. Is there any new API in OS 7.0 which works in actual device. I couldnt find any api for speech to text implementation.

Please suggest any method or API available to implement this in actual device.

Re: Text to Speech & Speech to Text implementation

There are some t2s/s2t engines in market.

iSpeech is free (https://www.ispeech.org/developers)

But I've tried it earlier spring and it didn't work properly. But after on Jam conference I was speaking with their representative and she said that issues were fixed. So you could try.

It took me 2 hours to integrate engine to my app.

It's not open source. But license is free.
