TrackwheelListener trackwheelRoll

i implemented  TrackwheelListene. When I click the Trackball, trackwheelClick is called. But trackwheelRoll is never called.

// this.log just prints the output to a screen

public boolean trackwheelRoll(int amount, int status, int time)
        this.log("amount: " + amount + " status: " + status + " time: " + time, "debug", false);

        return super.trackwheelRoll(amount, status, time);

    public boolean trackwheelClick(int status, int time)
        this.log("status: " + status + " time: " + time, "debug", false);

        return super.trackwheelClick(status, time);

    public boolean trackwheelUnclick(int status, int time)
        return super.trackwheelUnclick(status, time);

How can i retrieve informations about the trackball movement (up/down/left/right)?My Screen is a MainScreen and mein DisplayManager is a FlowFieldManager and i want to know if the user jumps from one Field to another. And i can't use FocusListeners on each field.

Re: TrackwheelListener trackwheelRoll

I'm guessing this is because the trackwheel is not the trackball (e.g. trackwheels were on models like the 8700 etc).  The API docs say you should be using the "navigation" methods in the Screen class instead of the Listener.
