Trouble debugging with Eclipse IDE Plug-in

I just installed Eclipse Juno with BlackBerry Java development plug-in 5.0 (I need to target some older devices).

I am able to build the application, but I cannot debug it.  When I try to step through the code on emulator either by pressing F5 to step in or F6 to step over the environment hangs for about 30 seconds to a minute and then stops at some totally random place in code, usually deep inside the platform API.

I tried debugging on a real device and I can't debug at all.  it does not even stop on breakpoints.

My application is a default HelloBlackBerry app and I am using Windows 7, Eclipse Juno 32-bit, Java plug-in 5.0, JDK 1.6 32-bit.  All settings are default.

I found some posts on this board where people had similar issues:  http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Cannot-debug-into-Eclipse/m-p/370803/highlig...

But they are pretty old.  Is it at all impossible to step through the code using Eclipse?

Re: Trouble debugging with Eclipse IDE Plug-in

This seems more of an Eclipse issue than a BlackBerry issue. I think it would be better to post a message on their support forum or log a bug at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/

Re: Trouble debugging with Eclipse IDE Plug-in

did you download eclipse+plugin at developer.blackberry.com? afaik the current version is indigo 3.7 with plugin 1.52, not sure if it runs correctly in juno.
