UMA and the phone listener

I have an app which uses the phonelistener to log call events. In particular I need to get callConnected. This has worked flawlessley for me until recently where an enterprise customer has problems with my app getting phone events. BES permissions are fine and when I test a unit at my lab everything works fine. However the same device exhibits problems once returned to the customer.

It is possible that UMA is kicking in and the call at the client's is going across UMA-WiFi rather than GSM.

Does the phonelistener work transparently with UMA?

Re: UMA and the phone listener

I see no reason why this would impact the listener, but it should be easy for your user to test and that will find out for sure.

Have the UMA user try it, note if it works or not, then if it fails, turn WIFI off on the phone and try again.
