USB Communication between desktop app and BB

Hello,

How do I connect to a BB via a java app over USB? I know there is a demo for USBing in the source code but I can't really tell what the code is trying to do.

I'm trying to have my laptop contact the BB and transfer a few files to it. I don't want to use the Desktop Manager, I want to learn to do this on my own.

Thanks for any help.

Re: USB Communication between desktop app and BB

The USBdemo communicates with a Java application running on the BlackBerry.

If you have a micro SD card in your BlackBerry device, you can access it from your PC as a USB drive and copy files to/from it.
