For four years we've run custom BBerry java apps on a BES 4.
The boss says "Upgrade" the server to BES 5.0, upgrade the devices to Curve/Bold.
We bought a new server, installed BES 5 trial, activated a Bold, which gets email, and can browse the web...
but the app no longer communicates.
First, all the simulators work fine. (I'm currently working with the 5.0 beta version)
The problems occur on the device.
1) Server pushes now fail to a device
Initially I was using our live push apps to our device java app.
Arrovs flash on the device, but nothing happens. The status query returns "undeliverable."
Then, I removed our app, and loaded just the sample HTTPPushDemo on the device,
and updated our push to use the sample pap push xml, to see any difference.
The BES 5 server logs say
"result code = 5238 Push connection aborted by device"
2) Device HTTP posts get Error 302 (either page not found, moved, or redirect)
Our app also does HTTP Posts to our own ASP web pages, the response write returns the desired records.
We use one common page to receive all inbound posts,
and like a traffic cop that page redirects traffic to specific pages for specific tasks.
The response code is now Error 302 as soon as the page redirects.
(If I load all the code from page 2 back in the initial page, the HTTP post completes correctly.
But we have over 50 apps. I can't combine all that into one ASP page.)
Anyone heard of these issues before?
Help on either (or both) issues would be most appreciated,

You should probably move this to the BES forum:
