VS2008 & java beginner

Hi,

 

are there any good tutorials out there on how to start writing java apps for blackberry in visual studio 2008? it seems i can't find any of them..

I don't think you'll find any. Last time something like Java was implemented in VS it was the 2005 version, and it was a proprietary version. 2008 and 2010 don't have it.

i would suggest you try eclipse plus the blackberry plugin. you can find it at blackberry.com/developers

hi,

 

i'm just testing this VS2008.. i had eclipse with bb plug-in, but there were problems everytime i started eclipse, simulator crashed, and there IS always some component missing.. eh dont like eclipse really much.
