Where to find the IPD file format definition?

I found following message http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Useful-links-for-novice-and-experienced-prog... but the refered link isn't available anymore.

Where can I found the definition now?

Re: Where to find the IPD file format definition?

Did you mean this?

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Useful-links-for-novice-and-experienced-prog...,

specifically this post:

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Useful-links-for-novice-and-experienced-prog...

whihc references this link:

http://na.blackberry.com/eng/devjournals/resources/journals/jan_2006/ipd_file_format.jsp

The developer journals have been on and offline over the years, see this:

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/developer-journals/m-p/67214

This is from 2006, I suggest it is likely to be too old to be 100% useful.

I take it you have searched and can't find any other source?

Re: Where to find the IPD file format definition?

Yeah how I wrote in my start post.

I only found the pdf version of that page:

http://us.blackberry.com/devjournals/resources/journals/jan_2006/BlackBerryDeveloperJournal-0301.pdf

But there must be a version which is up to date isn't it?

Re: Where to find the IPD file format definition?

To: H3llGhost ... I have been writing programs using the IPD as input for about three years. I have a thorough understanding of the IPD structure and format. I also have a good knowledge of the Address Book, Calendar, SMS Messages, Memos, Tasks, Phone Call Logs, and PIN Messages databases content. If you want to contact me regarding this, please send me a Private Message. Thanks ...... Mike
