hi,

i have used the below mentioned build.xml for alternate entry point.

<target name = "build" depends="clean">

<rapc destdir="release" output="BBPush" >

 <jdp title="Push Notification"

  vendor="July Systems"

  version="1.0"

  type="cldc"

  systemmodule="true"

  runonstartup="true"

  startuptier="7"
description="Push Notification"

  icon="../resources/app_icon.png" >

  <entry title="Push Notification"

arguments="init"

systemmodule="false"

runonstartup="false"

startuptier="7"

ribbonposition="0"

icon="../resources/app_icon.png" />
</jdp>

 <src>

  <fileset dir="${src.dir}">

  <include name="**/*.java" />

  <include name="**/*.png" />

   </fileset>

 </src>

</rapc>

 </target>

It didn't work for me.

Please help me resolve this issue

Thanks,

Reddy

Re: alternate entry point using ant

Hello,

what are you trying to do with the alternate entrypoint?

As I can see now, you start the application Push Notification at device start with no argument and there is an icon with "init" as argument. You don't have to define an icon for a systemmodule as it won't appear.

Thank you, have a nice day.

Re: alternate entry point using ant

i followed the below mentioned link for alternate entry point,

http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800901/How_To_-_Setup...

It worked fine.

But i want to write one build.xml file to achieve this.

i wrote one build.xml its not working. if posted the code also. if its wrong can u help me to re-write the code.

Re: alternate entry point using ant

I can help you make your entrypoint work. But I'll need to know what your main look like and which part must be called at device stard and which don't.

Thank you, have a nice day.
