auto start

hi all,


in my application i need to do some initialization in the startup of the device, so how can i get an indication if my application in the startup as my application is auto-start or if the user click on the application icon to run the application so i will lunch the UI application?

The auto-start feature is usually implemented by adding an Alternate CLDC Application Entry Point in JDE. One part of the definition of the entry point is the argument passed in to the main(String[]) method of your code. All you need to do in main(String[]) is check whether the argument is passed in and whether it is exactly as defined in the auto-start entry point, and you'll know whether the main(String[]) is invoked during auto-startup or not.
