callconnnected event fired too soon on verizon

hi all, when I run my app which is a fairly basic wrapper around PhoneListener the callconnected event fires when an outbound call is ANSWERED on the simulator in any carrier technology, and on a real v.5 or v.6 device running under GSM. However on 5 or 6 device running CDMA on Verizon, the callconnected event is fired as soon as the other phone starts ringing, which makes no sense. .. anyone seen this before? or even better have an answer? Smiley Wink it makes no sense to fire connected until the call is connected. thanks Pete
