closing invoked app programatically

Is there a way of closing a BlackBerry system app when invoked programatically? I'm developing an application wich needs to take snapshots, for OS 4.2 and higher, so as far as I know I cannot use JSR-135 (OS 4.6). Then I have to invoke the camera app and listen for new files, but I would like to close the camera when the picture is taken.

Re: closing invoked app programatically

Close it when the photo taken gets an entry in FileSystem using FileSystemJournalListener.

There are few topics dicussed in forum.

Re: closing invoked app programatically

I know that, my question is how to close it if possible. Seems that there is no mechanism for doing it directly, via API.

Re: closing invoked app programatically

that is correct, you have no control about other applications. the applicationmanager allows you to run other apps but termination is not included.
