color picker - existing code?

i'd like to have a color picker to allow the user customizing the application. is there any existing code? didn't find any on the net.

There is no standard mechanism for color picker.

 

Make your own custom field for that purpose.

AFAIK only available for 5.0+ OS and only in browser field - questionable whether you can actually use it in a native application. Did anyone try it?

Right, such ColorPickerField doesn't exists.

i had a list of colors from the Colors interface, together with editfields where you could enter the hex-value of a color. it should be possible to create a real colorpicker field using shadedpaths or similar, but it was too much of a hassle for me.
