hello every body

i have a  real probleme for now i can't use this class to download image from server can any one help me please

I can assure you that the webbitmapfield works properly. it does not have any sophisticated connection code, of course.

no clue why you have to create a second thread about the same issue.

if you use the unmodified code and have either started the MDS simulator or used deviceside=true it should work.

In order to use this on a real phone reliably you will definately need to switch to a proper http connection class.

 

Blackberry has a large number of connection types TCP, WIFI, BES, BIS, WAP. It is very problematic to code this yourself to test what is availible on the phone.

 

Luckily there has been some good work with libraries to do this for you.

 

You should try using a library like this

If you are just testing on the sim then like others have posted using ;deviceside=true at the end of the url should work.
