eclipse component path not recognised.

Hi,

I've installed the JDE plugin into eclipse, and everything looks fine except that when I goto Blackberry->Configure Blackberry Workspace then Installed Components it says that the Component Path is not Recognised, which is resulting in no BB classes being recognised in my source code.

I'm using eclipse 3.4.1 and have no spaces in my directory structure... any ideas appreciated.

thanks.

Re: eclipse component path not recognised.

Please note that the current beta release of the BlackBerry JDE Plug-in for Eclipse requires the Eclipse Software Update for the JDE 4.3 Component Pack and no longer supports previous installations of the BlackBerry JDE or BlackBerry JDE Component Packs.  They can be downloaded here:

Re: eclipse component path not recognised.

Hello:

I have downloaded the Eclipse pluging .zip 6 times: 5 using firefox and 1 using IE.

In all cases the download completed ok but the zip file is corrupted:

Here is the MD5 of the .zip which maches the MD5 reported by other users:

b02f27c3052dee4d4cdf699db4f3154a eJDE-Beta2_With_4_5.zip

When I try to unzip it, tools report it as corrupted:

[53]$ unzip ~/Desktop/eJDE-Beta2_With_4_5
Archive:  ~/Desktop/eJDE-Beta2_With_4_5.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found.  Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive.  In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
note:  ~/Desktop/eJDE-Beta2_With_4_5.zip may be a plain executable, not an arc
hive

Can you post MD5 sum of the original file?

Can you verify it's ok?

Re: eclipse component path not recognised.

The file should be a standard zip file.  This issue is being investigated.

Re: eclipse component path not recognised.

This issue has been resolved.  The corrupt file has been replaced with a valid one.
