The names pretty much tell the story, you can set breakpoints and see what it does,

Unfortunately you don't have source code for the system classes but this doesn't turn out to be too big a problem

as the debugger will display member contents etc. I wouldn't get too caught up on terminology but anything

that responds to asynchronous events I guess could be called event handling.
