Hi can any one send me hash table examples for data storing

hi,

 

Hashtable messageHT = new Hashtable();

 

to put data in key-value format

 

messageHT.put("Ur key","Ur VAlue");

 

 

to get data

 

String message =messageHT.get("Ur key");

Remember that storing a standard Hashtable means your data will still exit on the the device if your application is removed from the device.

 

If you want the data to be removed from the device when your application is removed then you have to create your own class that extends the hashtable.

Example:

 

 

public class MyHashtable extends Hashtable implements Persistable

Yes you can. Just get the data from the hashtable and the text fields usually have some method like setText() so you can use it.

OK I'm glad you've worked it out.
