Re: how to create a Excel format file?

Yes, I've tried it. But when it's opened by Excel 2007, some words don't be shown correctly.  Finally i used xml format for Excel 2007 and CSV for Excel 2003.

Re: how to create a Excel format file?

Have you tried creating a csv file using a standard PC text editor and then displaying that using Excel?

You need to understand how to do that before you start trying to code the BlackBerry to write a similar file.

Do you have Excel on your BlackBerry?  How are you trying to open it?

This Thread is talking about creating a file that can be opened by Excel running on a PC.
