how to know scroll is done

Hi all

 

I am creating a field.and on navigation movement i need to download data from server.I want to do it when the navigation stopped otherwise download thread start for each scroll.Need help.

You should use TouchEvent.UP event in Manager.touchEvent() method.

Very simple example code (for your Manager subclass implementation):

 

boolean isInScroll;

boolean touchEvent(TouchEvent message){
switch(message.getEvent()){
case TouchEvent.UP:
if(isInScroll){
isInScroll = false;
//start download data from server here...
}
break;
case TouchEvent.MOVE:
isInScroll = true;
break;
}
return super.touchEvent(message);
}
