Re: http connection problem in blackberry 7.0 3g network (version & AT&T)

My sample is really only useful if you have BIS-B access.  That said I think the logging in the code is a lot better than most of the other samples I have seen......

I thin the problem here is that you code is choosing an incorrect connection suffix.  Can you tell us what your code has actually chosen?  I'm betting it is based on a the 'bibs' service record.

The code you have based this one looks like it was not originally RIM supplied, I've never seen RIM code use "bibs".  If you want RIM supplied code that will help you determine the available transport types and give you the correct URL connection string to use this, then I recommend this KB article:

http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/What-Is-Network-API-alternative-for-legacy-O...

I would try to work the KB supplied code into the code you already have.

You also might find it useful to print off the Service records from the device that is failing and work out what your code and what the KB code would choose for the connection suffix.

And one final thing, I recommend that you choose BES/MDS first if if it available.
