Purpose of code snippet posted by spacemanaki:
To restrict the use of only TCP or WAP2 or WIFI for the OAuth login/permission/logout actions, which make extensive use of HTTP redirections and cookies, in order to avoid the potential problem(s) that the MDS or BIS transports might be giving us.
You can feel free to create and use another ConnectionFactory (e.g. with default transports order) for the other parts of your app like the normal graph API calls...etc.

I think this is an issue caused by facebook's server, which is redirecting the client to a URL with port 443 BUT without the "https://" prefix. I saw an android developer in this forum also complaining about that as well.
And it only happens to some specific handset brands and specific models.
As i am not able to reproduce the problem here on all the device models that i have on hand... could you kindly help to test if the 2 amended source files (attached) can fix your problem please?
If this can fix your problem, i will make them into the next minor release ASAP. Thanks.

Error is :-
Error requesting content for: http://www.facebook.com/dialog oauth?scope = publish_stream, offile_access…..

Hi David, can you post a quick list of changes? Is there any compelling bugfix which would make this one completely deprecate the old one? I noticed you/RIM have been taking down the old versions from SourceForge, not sure if that's an implicit deprecation ...
