problem referencing code in a different SVN directory

my SVN repository has the following structure

 |_______ proj1

 |_______ proj2

every single subdirectory is mapped to an Eclipse project with the same name. I would like to reference the code in the proj2 from within the proj1,so I have selected Project-->properties-->Project references and selected proj2. I can successfully import the classes definition in my proj1 code but when I try to run my application a runtime error message is displayed :"NoClassDefFoundError".

How could I fix this problem?

Re: problem referencing code in a different SVN directory

Do you actually have the projects imported into the workspace?

You should install Subclipse which minimizes on the amount of errors when using subversion and allows for a little control within Eclipse itself for your checked out folder.
