Re: pushing global push message on the screen

you can check if your application is already running using http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/7.1.0api/net/rim/device/api/system/ApplicationManager.html...
if it returns -1 the app is not running, so you can start it.

Re: pushing global push message on the screen

Hi Simon

now my app is running i am able to open my app on message popup click.

But i have some other problem means

Problem:-

1) my app is openning for all push messages

2) in case if i am canceling the popup my app is not opening at that time,But while i am opening my app menualy by clicking over app icon first it is opening the page for which push messages had come .

Requiarment:-

1)i want to make selection over messages,Means if i will cancel the popup, and after while i will open my app it shuld not open for the messages page.

Note:- i am redirecting on the particular page of my app on the basis of push messages.

2)so i want to cancel some messages,

Note:-If total 5 push notification on the screen and i want to see only 2 messages it shuld happen, remaining 3 shuld be cancel.

so can you give me any idea.

thanks

Re: pushing global push message on the screen

could you mark this thread as solved, and open a new one for the new issue? just to keep the thread on topic.

i cannot answer your question without knowing how you store and access the pushed messages, and most likely you should be able to come up with a solution for that yourself, it is mostly a design issue i suspect.
feel free to open a new thread with information about that.
