"capture audio in simulator" is throwing unsupported record encoding type

Hi,

I have been trying to create the audio player following the

http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/1089414/How_To...

but When I invoke Manager.createPlayer("capture://audio"); ITs throwing the exception

  unsupported record encoding type.

I am using eclipse/jde along with JDE 4.5 on 8330 device simulator.

I searched the forums and found that restarting eclipse helps but it did not.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rgds

Praveen

I don't know what has to be done and this is the first time I've seen something like this on simulator. Anyway in my JDE 4.5.0.7 simulators even standard Voice Notes Recorder says "Voice Notes Recorder has been disabled by your System Administrator". And I can't create audio player as well with the same error as Zorrorulz  has.

I dn't know, what is going wrong at you side.. I have used the Simulator for recording the audio.. it works neat. My development environment, JDE 4.6.0.12, Simulator 9000.

On my 4.6 simulator it works as well, but it doesn't on my 4.5 JDE simulators.
