send sms body text not displaying

 Hello To All,

I used below code to open sms with simple text message. When Screen open it should be display text message as default message. But it is not displaying, It's open with blank sms screen. Is there any problem in code.

 MessageConnection mc = (MessageConnection)Connector.open("sms://");
 TextMessage m = (TextMessage)mc.newMessage(MessageConnection.TEXT_MESSAGE);
 m.setAddress( "sms://5558888" );
 m.setPayloadText( "An SMS Message for you" );
 Invoke.invokeApplication( Invoke.APP_TYPE_MESSAGES, new MessageArguments( m ) );

Thanks.

Have you tried this :

Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.APP_TYPE_MESSAGES,
new MessageArguments( MessageArguments.ARG_NEW_SMS)),String to, String subject, String body);

Re: send sms body text not displaying

Hi

Thanks for your interest ...

I have tried this but its allow to build the email message not the text message. I need to send the SMS as text message, where we can't get this 'to','subject'......etc. I think we may need to have better/upgraded API to have this facility. Like email body, we should also have facility to set the content like message.setContent().

If you find anything related to this. Please let aware us
