I need to store a set of many parameters in persistent store. I am wondering if it is possible to create a class that contains all the parameters and put an instance of the class into the store, instead of putting each parameter into the store separately. So the questions are:
1. Is it possible?
2. If yes, is there performance concerns with storing a class instance, or any other concers?

1. yes its possible, you need to make sure your class extend the persistable interface
2. yes there are performance concerns and limitations to the number of object handles that you could use on some OS's...refer to these articles for a more detailed explanation:
