use of blackberry logo within J2ME App - need to be ISV?

[ Edited ]

hello all,

we want to dev. a gaming application for one of our customers for all the new bb trackball device.

Problem:

you always have the problem with the RSK and LSK - which bb button shall i use for that keys, which are normaly clear to use on a normal mobile phone.

So we thought about using the 2 buttons next to the trackball ( bb menu button with the blackberry logo on it, and the back key).

to make it 100 clear to our endusers we would draw the logo printed on the buttons within the application to the users 100% know which button to use (international).

My questions: may I use the logo without beeing a ISV partner?

If not, how much does a membership of ISV cost, and would it be enough to be a ISV partner to use the trademark blackberry logo?

Tkx in advance 4 your answers.

On this forum there are blackberry users and technical specialists. There are no RIM lawyers.

I recommend to contact RIM directly.
