which is better file storage or the persistent storage

Hello,

I am developing one application in which as user login first time he is getting set of questions so I need to store it somewhere. I  have to support from the 4.5 so There is no option to store it in database.

Now I want to protect that data from the user also.

If I sotre it in the file then user can might read it.

and If I store in the persistenet store then I can protect the data.

But I want to know is it good to store it over there.

It might take up to 120 kb storage.

So is there any way to protect data in file.

Pls advice me.

Thanks In advance.

bskania.

Re: which is better file storage or the persistent storage

see the API on http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/7.1.0api/net/rim/device/api/system/PersistentObject.html and the developer guide.

i am not sure if there is a size limit, but persistant store is saved on the application memory, and not all devices have a whole lot of that.
if you want to store big amounts of data the SD card is more appropriate.
