why does the control out of visible area on screen can't be focused?

Hi all,

please help me solve this problem. My screen has overriden Manager object which hold some custom Fields I dynamically add at runtime.  These custom field are focusable and i call  'overriden Manager'.setVerticalScroll() method to make the screen update and show the new  added field display on visible area of 'overriden Manager'.

The view is ok  but when i click to the new added custom Field, the strange thing happens.  That fied cann't receive focus and the screen either show blank or do nothing.

It seems that the new added field 's position is over the visible area of overriden Manager and cann't receive focus. Only some first fields in overriden Manager which is in visible area can receive focus.

Thanks in advance any help!!!

What BlackBerry model and handheld software version are you testing on?  You can find this under Options, About on the BlackBerry handheld.  Can you post a screen shot and sample code?
