App to record calls on BlackBerry 10

Hi,

I'd like to develop an app that will allow me to record incoming / outgoing voice calls from the earpiece mic and not the speaker. Is the API available as it seems many of the apps on BlackBerry world do not have this feature.

Thanks for your time.

This has been asked a number of times in the forums, the best you can do at the moment and the way the current apps seem to work is by recording the speaker.

Hi, that doesn't really answer my question though Smiley Happy will the API be released to allow this or is BlackBerry refusing due to security? This feature is available to des on Android and iOS which makes me wonder about the real reason behind it...

Re: App to record calls on BlackBerry 10

on BB OS (the old OS) it was disabled specifically due to security concerns. i have never read an official statement about BB10, but i would guess it just stayed that way.
