Auto completion Cascades Development(C++ )

Hi,

I just started to develop in Cascades using the new BETA environment. I'm going through the sample apps and auto-complete doesn't work, I mean, when I click Control + Space and I'm trying to create a button for instance, I don't see a list with all the methods available and whatnot. I'm using C++, not QML.

Is this feature still not available in the beta environment? If it is, how can I activate it?

Thank you very much

Regards

BTW Greenback he said in his post that he used the CTRL + SPACE and that he didn't get anything. Did you read his post at least?

For the code completion are you sure you are not missing a ; or a curly bracket? Maybe that's the reason why you don't get anything.

Re: Auto completion Cascades Development(C++ )

I have tried CTRL+SPACE (on Windows) and it works. I would suggest if that is disabled to make sure there are no conflicts in the keyboard shortcut configuration menu.

Access The Keyboard Configuration

In the editor

  • Window
  • Preferences
  • (search) "Keys"
  • Check key to make sure key binding do not conflict
If this doesn't fix the issue, I don't know what else will...
