BB 10 Cascades qml sending a simple email

found one example in the the git hub for BB 10 for sending an email, but it looks pretty complicated and alot done in C.

does anyone have an example on how to send a quick email using QML. I don't need any buttons or text fields, just hard coded values.

I found this simple snip, but dont' know how to integrate it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: BB 10 Cascades qml sending a simple email

you would have to use c++ for that, it is not exposed in pure qml so far.

see

on how to integrate both.

Re: BB 10 Cascades qml sending a simple email

Does your use case require that the app send the email without the user being involved, or could it merely invoke the email composer as a Card, with predefined recipient, subject, and body, and let the user choose whether to hit Send or Cancel?

Doing the composer thing is doable purely from QML now, I believe. There's a thread I can find if that would work.
