at the moment you cannot develop background / foreground apps like in BB OS 6 / 7

but you can use the Invokation Framework:

your app runs in foreground or minimizes and can call functionality from other App via Card Viewer / Composer, where the invoked app will be invisible and the OS manages a pool - so there can be more then one instances

Hi ekke,

It is very helpful to me if you provide some sample code to use the Invokation Framework

you can take a look at this blog by me:

https://appbus.wordpress.com/category/bb-10-cascades/invocation-framework/

or the OpenDataSpace project at GitHub, but its perhaps too complex for starting-with-cascades
