I met the same situation.
1.Uninstall VM and BB 10 simulator.
3.Reinstall VM and bb10.
4.Try VM 4.0.4 and 5.0
5.Change to 2 processor setting, Change resolution.
Windows 7 64 bit, RAM 8G.

I have upgraded from beta2 NDK to beta3 NDK.
Beta3 simulator is starting but Settings Screen is not opening properly. What can be the problem. Only one Textfield is displayed. I want to set Development Mode ON.
