Best way to debug/log?

Hello,

Iam wondering what is the best way to debug a cascades application.

Iam not sure how to log to, for example the console.

Thanks

Re: Best way to debug/log?

i usually use
qDebug() << "something to log"

i think since the last release those are only available on the ssh console, see
http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Cascades-Development/Filter-debug-informations/td-p/1923809

you can also use a standard sysout:
#include <iostream.h>
cout << "Hello World\n" ;

[ Edited ]

and how about the massive default logging? are you just ignoring that?

logs like this:

LGM - RENDER_BEGIN  SINCE_LAST_RENDER_START: 104530229 ns

FPS_WARNING: total frame time: 33 ms, event processing(1): 0 ms, render: 33 ms, event processing
(2): 0 ms, wait for GPU: 0 ms, #frames since last bad: 0

EDIT:

oops explained in the link Smiley Happy

Thx.
