Re: Blackberry Hub Type UI

I don't think it's possible to override the standard gestures yet, it might be possible to check for the signal.

What is it you are trying to do exactly?

Only gesture I can see as significant is the Peek one. Every Page and Sheet have this. You can leave it enabled by default or disable it.

Re: Blackberry Hub Type UI

calicratis19, are you perhaps just looking for TabbedPane, which basically does what you describe, within an app. (There's no way to hook into the system swipe gesture that works at the Home screen for getting to the Hub.)

Re: Blackberry Hub Type UI

I am trying to create a UI which will look like the hub but it won't be the bb10 default hub. Its not necessary that it should open when swipe gesture is done. But maybe clicking a button will open up that hub. And I must be able to add/remove items from that hub.

Re: Blackberry Hub Type UI

So as I said, sounds like TabbedPane is what you need.

Re: Blackberry Hub Type UI

TabbedPane is what you need.
Use StandardListItem and the rest of the native looking Cascades components.
Menu on the left is just tabs. On the right you got ActionItems.
