[ Edited ]

I used to answer these kind of questions with, 'It's only possible by recording the speaker'.

However it appears that one or two apps are able to record without the speaker on, how thay do this I'm unsure as I've found nothing in the 'standard' APIs which can achieve this.

The fact that a lot of reviews say that the recording level is poor without the speaker on and the developers message IS to turn on the speaker for better recording makes me suspicious.

Take from this what you can.

Example...

Re: Call Recorder App for BlackBerry 10

The other point I think to take from this of course is that there are already a number of recorder apps in the market and unless you think you can do it better, and the fact you have asked this question here probably indicates a no, then you are unlikely to make any money.

I had also done some information gathering work but didn't able to see appropriate API for that purpose. It would be great if you helped me with piece of code

Re: Call Recorder App for BlackBerry 10

I think that's the point is that there is no piece of code as the API's don't really exist AFAIK.

Also I don't have the time to write other people's code for them. Smiley Happy

If this is a personal project for sale then I'd advise against doing it, if this is a project for a business then I would feedback the possible limitations.

Maybe those apps are call apps themselves? As in, they created a call app...

no API for that as well. If you would create a voip app you could record everything, of course.
