Can I debug BB10DevAlpha via my home WiFi network in 192.168.2.xx IP range?

[ Edited ]

The whole question is in Subject.

Also, I would suggest to create generic forum for questions that are not related to any specific SDK.

Wifi: yes, that's how most of us do it, especially those of us with Dev Alpha USB connection issues.

Forum: Good suggestion. The AIR forum has always been used as a "general purpose" PlayBook/BB10 developer forum, as it was the first one.

The problem is that I can only change the last two bytes in "Developer address", and the first two are 169.254. This range does not fit into my home network.

Oh. I've found that Developer address does not belong to WiFi access for development. Looks like it is for USB only.

Correct. When connected to USB, the PlayBook acts as a network device and uses the 169 private network. You can still connect to it over Wifi using your 192 network.
