I am working on a telephony-based app and would like to initiate a call from the headless part of the app. I am using the following code
QVariantMap map; map.insert("number", QString("+12345678999")); // required InvokeRequest request; QByteArray requestData = bb::PpsObject::encode(map, NULL); request.setAction(QString("bb.action.DIAL")); request.setMimeType(QString("application/vnd.black
berry.phone.startcall")); request.setData(requestData); m_invokeManager->invoke(request);
The code doesn't work when used from the headless part though it works from a regular, UI part of the app. I have all the available phone permissions selected.
Is it possible to initiate an call from a headless application?

No, that is not supported. You'll need to initiate it from your UI application.
