Re: Can not launch Simulator from Device Manager

Have you tried opening the simulator from the VMPlayer? You would need  to add the simulator to VMPlayer so you can start it.

Thanks,

Kareem.

Re: Can not launch Simulator from Device Manager

Hi,

Unless you override the default paths during the setup, the simulator will be located in the home folder under folder named "bbndk" along with all BB10 SDKs and the IDE files. (screenshot #1 below)

After you download WMware for linux & the Simualtor:

1- Open VMware and click on Open Virtual Machine

2- Browse to folder where the BB10 simulator you want to add located in [in the ./home/bbndk/<simulator X folder>] select the  .VMX file

3- now select the simualtor you want to start from left menu in VMware and click on "Play Virtual Machine"

Hope this help.
