Cascade NDK Beta 3 does not generate app.cpp/hpp anymore

Im learning cascade and follow many helpful tutorials . Almost tutorials mention about the "app.cpp/hpp"

but when creating the new blank cascade project, it does not generate that kind of file in \src\ folder.

Is this new feature of Beta3?

Re: Cascade NDK Beta 3 does not generate app.cpp/hpp anymore

I think this is a new feature, more or less.
before all projects had the main application class called "app.cpp", and due to the strange refactoring a name change would also apply to other projects.

When i create a new project using the wizard (File, new, Blackberry Cascades Project) the project name is used to create the main application class, for example Lala.hpp/Lala.cpp when i name the project Lala.

Re: Cascade NDK Beta 3 does not generate app.cpp/hpp anymore

If you happen to be referring to my tutorial (http://bbcascadescode.tumblr.com/post/29294239402/running-c-function-from-qml-trivial-example), I didn't realize I still had the app.cpp and app.hpp references in it.  I have now fixed it.

On a general note, app.cpp and app.hpp from Beta1 and 2 became <nameofyourproject>.cpp and <nameofyourproject>.hpp in Beta3.

Thanks all. I'm clear and now I keep going with cascade.

By the way, do you have a set of popular BB10 icon images for menu, navigation, settings...?

Liz Meyer has released a free icon set at http://myersdesign.com/resources/

We are currently asking RIM to provide an official set on their own, as they have one but it is not public.
