Cascades App on Android ?

I'm literally in love with Cascades since the BB Jam. I developped some apps for BB10 really easily. But i'm wondering to port them to Android.

Does anyone know if it's possible ?

I know we can port Qt Apps to Android and that Cascades is based on Qt, si I thought it can be done no ?

AFAIK Cascades isn't open source so it's not possible.

What Zmey said...

Also, you might like to read this background on Cascades: http://devblog.blackberry.com/2012/09/cascades-custom-ui/

After reading that, you'll probably conclude that without access to the source, at best you'd be able to make up a set of "emulated" Cascades components which might appear to be the real thing, but would probably not have the performance of the real thing.

For now anyway, Cascades remains part of the "secret sauce" that could help BB10 compete, and you won't see it on other platforms.
