Just wanted to share my experience on trying to run the BB10 IDE and Emulator on Mountain Lion since I expect quite a few Mac users will be updating over the next few days.
Unless you really have to/need to upgrade to Mountain Lion I really wouldn't reccommend it. The current version of VMWare Fusion no longer works under Mountain Lion and won't until VMWare update the software. After digging around I found a link to a technical preview that does work on Mountain Lion but will expire in October:
The emulator won't boot if you don't specify safe mode and even then it takes 5-10minutes to boot and is so unresponsive it is pretty much unusable.
I also had trouble getting the IDE to download and install (beta 2). Each time I tried downloading the file and running the installer it would come back saying the file was corrupt. After trying to download the file multiple times from both Safari and Chrome I got a colleague to download it and that worked first time. It is also worth noting that you may need to disable Gatekeeper in "System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General" to allow the installation to run.
My general advice would be hold off from upgrading to Mountain Lion until an upgrade is available for VMWare and to be aware that any new installations really don't work as smoothly as you would hope. Although the additions to Mountain Lion are nice they aren't worth the hassle and disruption it has caused to my workflow!
Let me know what your experience is like and I will do my best to help answer any questions.

Thanks for that report. Unfortunately it's already too late for me, having upgraded both Macs already - VMWare claim to have a release that works with Mountain Lion, but I tried installing the dev environment after downloading with Chrome and I still have the same problem as with Safari. I'll have to slum it on Windows in the meantime, but I'm hoping this problem will be fixed in the next release.

Another observation is that since I have updated to Beta 2 the IDE has also become unusable. I have now switched to a Windows machine until a fix is released.
Basically when you start typing code in the text area you can only type a certain number of characters before focus on the text area is lost. To continue typing you need to click back into the text area, only for the same problem to repeat. This has completely killed my workflow and I have stopped developing for BB10 on my Mac because of these issues.
