I want to to display a waveform, similiar to the Sound Recorder in Windows, while recording audio with AudioRecorder. Is it possible? I don't see anyway to get acess to the audio data as its being recorded. Do I need to use the sound functions in the native sdk instead of the Cascades stuff?
If the only way to do it is with the C functions from the native sdk, is it possible to use the the Cascades stuff I already have working in conjunction with the C functions?
Any help or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get a solution for this?
I figure it's "easily" possible with the Core Native, possibly by reading the bytes inside the file.
Most probably this will need to be generated into a bitmap for performance.

If it can be done in native it should be also possible in Cascades.
Probably this docs should help: https://developer.blackberry.com/native/documentat
I know that Scoreloop, which is available for Native Framework, can be also used in Cascades.
