Data network availibility signal?

I have post requests that go out over a QNetworkAccessManager that works fine when wifi or a data network is around. I'd like to queue up data to be sent to the server manually (I know the manager queues 6 requests, but I need to persist across application closes)

I can't seem to find anything that would emit a signal when the data network is available or not. https://developer.blackberry.com/cascades/reference/qnetworkaccessmanager.html#networkAccessibleChan... was my likely option, but never seems to get called in my application despite me disabling/enabling wifi (dev alpha B, 10.1.0.1483)

Are their any other components to monitor the device data network accessibility?

Hi MatthewGeomax, the httptest sample listens/monitors the network availability signal. The sample is available on Github here.
