Decode H.264 3GP video to a texture

Are there APIs exposed which would allow me to decode video from a file or memory buffer into either a texture (directly) or a pixel buffer so that I can create a texture?

I see that the mm_render interface can render video to a window, and that there are play/stop/seek interfaces.  I am looking for the same thing, but with a tap just before rendering to allow me to do special things with the video frames.

nope, not yet.

though you can TRY to render to a window using mm-renderer and then scrape that window using screen_read_window() when there is a post event.  Might work for you.

Formal APIs to do this sort of thing are on the way...  can't give an ETA though.

Cheers,
