I searched for a while but the closest thing I could get was the name of the network interface on the device itself. Looks like it's not possible to get the SSID of the access point you're connected with...

Hi, you can use the QNetworkConfiguration API to retrieve the active WiFi configuration. For docs on the API go here.

Am using below code to detect connected Wi-Fi name but it returns blank string please check it is correct or am doing anything wrong
QNetworkConfiguration config = netMgr.defaultConfiguration();

I am also facing the same problem. I need to show the connected WIFI name in my app. I searched a lot, find some solution but they are not working at all. Its very urgent to me.
If some one knows abt this plz reply quickly.

Hi, i have just received confirmation from our internal teams that obtaining the SSID and network name are currently not possible with the current set of API's and Qt4.

Is it possible to look up the SSID of the active WiFi profile using SDK 10.2? I've seen a new API for WiFiDirect, but no changes were spotted to other networking related packages so far.
