DisplayDirection::South does not trigger change

I set the Auto-orient flag in my bar-descriptor.xml and connected the "displayDirectionAboutToChange" signal properly in the code.

Also I mde sure that supported display orientations are set to "All".

Everything works as long as I do not rotate the device to DisplayDirection:Smiley Frustratedouth (the BB logo is on the top).

That orientation does not trigger the change at all while all others do.

Am I missing something?

Any help is appreciated.

Re: DisplayDirection::South does not trigger change

Tested built in applications and NONE support the South orientation!

Try the WebBrowser for example - rotate your device and you'll notice that it does not rotate to the "South" orientation at all.

Is this by design for some reason or a bug?

The API clearly supports this orientation it's just that the device never notifies about it!
